Jaime constantly reminded me that I had a choice — a say in how I envisioned my labor and delivery. With Jaime's help, I took my time when making decisions, and I advocated for myself. Jaime brought a calming and relaxing energy to my labor. She helped me with my exercises and encouraged me to rest when needed. Because I was in good hands, my husband was also able to rest. Jaime also brought levity to my labor and delivery by distracting me from the pain. She held my hand through it all, providing me solid support. I really felt like she was on my side, always. Labor progressed very quickly for me and Erica came on short notice, and was so flexible as our birth plan and needs changed. She helped me to feel calm as contractions worsened and as I started to push. When I was exhausted and so sure I couldn't do it, Erica was very encouraging. She also took the most beautiful photos of my husband and I with our new baby in the delivery room! It was so helpful to have Erica with us at the hospital, since she knew what our hopes for the birth were, and knew we wanted to avoid unnecessary interventions. She also helped start breastfeeding right after delivery, and my daughter had such an easy time latching and feeding after that.

My experience in pregnancy, labor and delivery with Jaime was absolutely wonderful! My husband and I did tremendous research and I was committed to having an unmedicated birth from the beginning of my pregnancy. Jaime was there for me every step of the way. When I unexpectedly decided to switch providers in my third trimester, Jaime supported me and supplied me with a list of recommended doctors. Jaime always encouraged us in our preparations and research as we neared the end of my pregnancy journey. She was extremely responsive, helpful, answered all of our questions at any time! When it came time for my labor, she physically and emotionally supported me throughout contractions, encouraged me when things felt hard, and was a main factor in my success at having a fast, intense and magical unmedicated delivery. I can't thank her enough - any person in a pregnancy journey would be lucky to have Jaime at their side!
